Hack

Hack

Pre-requisites: Familiarity with programming (Python is most helpful) and the Linux OS.
Sign up for free GitHub and DockerHub accounts if you haven't got them yet.

Prepare for the hack with the following:

01

An idea

Bring an example code that you wish to convert into a Docker-image, or ChRIS plugin. We suggest having several examples with a varying range of simplicity i.e. from few dependencies to as many as you require. Bring example data to test your code/plugin.

02

A laptop

We recommend bringing a laptop with at least 8GB RAM which should be capable of running Docker and your image processing software.

03

Installed on your laptop

Docker (Visit this tutorial on how to set it up). It could save you a lot of time!
